Breathwork is so much more than learning how to breathe deeply or relax. Our breath is a powerful doorway into our emotional experiences, physical sensations, inner awareness, and relationship with ourselves.

At Asttarte Deva Healing Wellness Center, Asttarte offers personalized breathwork experiences ranging from gentle relaxation, energy clearing, and stress relief to profound emotional exploration, grief processing, inner child healing, spiritual awakening, and personal transformation.

Some people arrive feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted. Others carry years of grief, relationship wounds, shame, sexual repression, or difficulty expressing their deepest feelings. Still others seek greater vitality, empowerment, creativity, spiritual connection, and the freedom to experience themselves more fully.

Wherever you are in your journey, your breath offers an opportunity to begin connecting with what is alive within you. Every session is personalized according to your intentions, emotional readiness, physical well-being, and the depth of experience you wish to explore.

Breathwork Experiences With Asttarte

1. Psychedelic Breathwork

Expanded Awareness & Inner Exploration

An immersive, non-drug breathwork experience designed to invite deeper self-awareness, emotional exploration, and connection with your inner world. Through conscious breathing, music, intention, and guided facilitation, some participants experience vivid imagery, emotional breakthroughs, unusual body sensations, spiritual insights, or altered states of awareness. These experiences are sometimes described as psychedelic-like, even though no psychedelic substances are involved.

Sessions may explore:

  • Expanded awareness and spiritual connection
  • Emotional expression and self-discovery
  • Unconscious patterns and personal beliefs
  • Grief, fear, and unresolved feelings
  • Creativity, insight, and renewed perspective
  • A deeper relationship with the body and inner self

Every experience is different. Altered states and emotional breakthroughs are not guaranteed or required. More intensive breathwork is offered only after appropriate screening and preparation.

2. Conscious Connected Breathwork

Emotional Release & Transformation

Conscious Connected Breathwork uses a continuous, rhythmic breathing pattern to support sustained attention, body awareness, and emotional exploration. Asttarte’s approach is informed by her training and experience with Rebirthing Breathwork, Pranayama, and Holotropic-inspired practices. Sessions may incorporate music, guided meditation, somatic awareness, movement, sound, and emotional expression.

This work can support exploration of:

  • Emotional stagnation and feelings of being stuck
  • Unexpressed sadness, anger, or grief
  • Fear, insecurity, and self-limiting beliefs
  • Stress and patterns of emotional suppression
  • Greater self-awareness and personal empowerment
  • Reconnection with joy, creativity, and vitality

The pace and intensity are adapted to the individual. Gentle approaches are available for those who do not wish to participate in intensive breathing.

3. Inner Child Breathwork

Healing Early Emotional Wounds

Within each of us are emotional experiences connected to childhood: moments when we longed to feel loved, seen, protected, accepted, or understood. When these needs were not consistently met, we may carry feelings of abandonment, rejection, insecurity, or unworthiness into adulthood.

Inner Child Breathwork combines conscious breathing, emotional awareness, guided reflection, and compassionate self-connection. This practice invites you to explore the younger parts of yourself that may still be seeking reassurance, affection, safety, and belonging.

Areas of exploration may include:

  • Childhood attachment wounds
  • Fear of abandonment or rejection
  • Feelings of not being good enough
  • Difficulty receiving love and support
  • Shame, emotional inhibition, and insecurity
  • Reconnecting with playfulness, joy, and authenticity
  • Developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself

The intention is to approach these experiences with gentleness, without forcing memories or emotional release.

4. Empowerment & Liberation Breathwork

Move Beyond Fear, Repression & Self-Limiting Patterns

Sometimes we become so accustomed to holding ourselves back that we forget what it feels like to express our truth. We may suppress anger, silence our desires, minimize our needs, or live according to expectations that no longer reflect who we are.

Empowerment & Liberation Breathwork invites you to reconnect with your voice, personal strength, emotional expression, and sense of freedom. Depending on your needs, sessions may include energizing breathing practices, movement, sound, visualization, intention-setting, and guided emotional expression.

This experience may support:

  • Reclaiming confidence and self-worth
  • Expressing emotions more authentically
  • Exploring fears and limiting beliefs
  • Developing personal boundaries
  • Reconnecting with passion and purpose
  • Strengthening self-trust
  • Experiencing greater freedom in your body and self-expression

5. Grief, Heartbreak & Emotional Healing Breathwork

Making Space for Loss, Love & the Healing Heart

Grief takes many forms. We may grieve the death of someone we love, the ending of a relationship, emotional abandonment, betrayal, lost opportunities, or parts of ourselves we feel we have left behind. Sometimes grief is expressed through tears. Other times it appears as numbness, exhaustion, anger, loneliness, or difficulty feeling connected to life.

Heart-centered breathwork offers a compassionate space to acknowledge these experiences. Sessions may combine gentle breathing, meditation, grounding, guided reflection, and emotional expression to support the process of moving through loss. The intention is not to erase grief, but to develop a more compassionate relationship with it while gradually reconnecting with love, meaning, and life.

6. Breathwork for Intimacy, Sexual Repression & Emotional Connection

Reconnecting With Your Body, Your Heart & Your Capacity for Love

Our experiences of intimacy are deeply connected with emotional safety, attachment, self-worth, and the ways we have learned to relate to our bodies. Past trauma, shame, rejection, relationship betrayal, compulsive patterns, or emotional neglect can influence how we experience closeness, desire, vulnerability, and affection.

Breathwork can provide a supportive opportunity to explore the feelings and protective patterns surrounding these experiences. Areas of exploration may include:

  • Shame or fear surrounding sexuality and intimacy
  • Difficulty receiving affection or emotional closeness
  • Sexual repression and disconnection from bodily sensations
  • Emotional patterns associated with compulsive sexual behavior
  • Fear of vulnerability, rejection, or abandonment
  • Relationship grief and betrayal
  • Developing healthier connections between affection, sexuality, and emotional intimacy
  • Reconnecting with self-respect, personal boundaries, and authentic desire

This work may be integrated with intimacy coaching, attachment exploration, somatic practices, and personal reflection. The focus is on self-awareness, emotional connection, and healing one’s relationship with oneself. It does not involve sexual contact with the practitioner.

7. Energy Clearing, Pranayama & Restorative Breathwork

Not every breathwork session needs to be emotionally intense. For some people, the greatest gift is simply learning to slow down, relax, feel grounded, and return to the present moment.

Asttarte offers gentle breathwork and traditional Pranayama practices to support:

  • Stress relief and relaxation
  • Grounding and emotional balance
  • Energy awareness and spiritual connection
  • Mindfulness and concentration
  • Gentle movement of breath through the body
  • A greater sense of clarity and inner peace
  • Developing a sustainable personal breathing practice

These sessions may incorporate meditation, visualization, sound healing, or gentle somatic awareness.

The Heart Alive

An original heart-centered breathwork practice developed by Asttarte Deva

Breathe Into Your Heart. Rediscover Your Worth. Awaken Your Capacity for Love.

The Heart Alive is an original breathwork practice developed by Asttarte through her personal healing journey, professional experience, and exploration of the relationship between breath, emotional attachment, intimacy, and the human need for love.

This practice focuses on the emotional experiences that can arise when we feel unloved, unseen, unwanted, unsupported, or disconnected from ourselves. It is especially meaningful for individuals exploring patterns of sexual repression, compulsive sexual behavior, relationship dependency, emotional abandonment, and difficulty experiencing authentic intimacy.

The Heart Alive invites participants to explore the deeper feelings beneath these patterns. Rather than seeking validation or love exclusively through another person, the practice emphasizes reconnecting with one’s own heart and developing a stronger internal foundation of self-acceptance, compassion, and emotional presence.

Areas of exploration:

  • The longing to be loved, valued, supported, and seen
  • Early attachment experiences and inner child wounds
  • Emotional loneliness and fear of abandonment
  • Sexual shame, repression, and imbalanced patterns of intimacy
  • Compulsive behaviors associated with seeking validation or connection
  • Grief, heartbreak, and emotional self-protection
  • Reconnecting with self-love, dignity, and personal worth
  • Developing the capacity to give and receive love with greater awareness

The Heart Alive may incorporate conscious breathing, heart-centered awareness, guided emotional exploration, meditation, and integration practices. It can be offered as a focused individual experience or incorporated into a longer healing pathway alongside intimacy coaching and somatic work. The Heart Alive is Asttarte’s original practice and is distinct from the breathwork modalities in which she has received professional training.

Breathwork & Tantra

Awakening Embodiment & Life Energy

Asttarte also integrates breathwork with selected principles of traditional Tantra Yoga, including conscious awareness, Pranayama, meditation, embodied presence, and spiritual exploration. These practices invite participants to explore their relationship with vitality, creativity, personal expression, and the experience of energy within the body.

Sessions may include grounding, breath awareness, gentle movement, meditation, and reflective practices inspired by yogic traditions. The emphasis is on cultivating greater awareness, emotional presence, self-connection, and respect for the body.

What Happens During a Private Breathwork Session

Every session begins with a conversation. Together, we explore what you are experiencing, what you would like to work through, and what you hope to create or experience. Depending on your needs, a session may include:

  1. Intention & preparation. Discussing your goals, current emotional state, relevant health considerations, and readiness for the practice.
  2. Grounding & meditation. Establishing presence, awareness, and connection with the body.
  3. Guided breathwork. Exploring breathing techniques appropriate to your needs and comfort level.
  4. Emotional & somatic exploration. Incorporating body awareness, movement, sound, visualization, or emotional expression when appropriate.
  5. Rest & integration. Allowing the body to settle, reflecting on the experience, and identifying meaningful insights or next steps.

Some sessions are quiet, nurturing, and meditative. Others may involve more active breathing, movement, tears, laughter, or emotional expression. There is no particular emotional response you must achieve. You remain an active participant in the experience, and practices can be modified or stopped at any time.

Private Sessions & Ongoing Healing Pathways

Breathwork may be experienced as a standalone session or incorporated into longer integrative healing programs. Asttarte offers private sessions for individuals seeking stress relief, emotional healing, inner child exploration, grief support, personal empowerment, spiritual growth, or deeper work surrounding intimacy and attachment.

For clients seeking sustained transformation, ongoing sessions can provide space to explore recurring patterns, develop greater emotional awareness, and integrate insights into daily life and relationships. Sessions may combine Breathwork with Somatic Stress Release, meditation, sound healing, Reiki, attachment coaching, or other complementary approaches according to individual needs.

Begin Your Breathwork Journey

Whether you are seeking a gentle restorative experience or a deeper exploration of your emotional and spiritual life, Asttarte invites you to begin with a private consultation.

Breathwork is a complementary wellness practice, not a replacement for psychotherapy, addiction treatment, or medical care. Intensive breathing techniques can cause dizziness, tingling, changes in consciousness, or other physiological effects and are not suitable for everyone. Appropriate screening, informed consent, and individualized pacing are part of the process.
